12" front wheels! for a shee
#1
I was looking around for some 10" car tires, but they seem to be a pain to find. I looked at the tires of my trailer, and they measure 21" of diameter!!
The only problem is that they are 12", the bolt pattern is incorrect (I can do the holes again...no prob), the tire is pretty thin (not even as wide as the 145 R10 grooved...I think it's 6" wide..but my concern #1 is will the rims hold up???
It's the big heavy double snowmobile trailer, tires are 6-8 ply rated...that sounds like fun!
Anyone done this? Opinions?

Try getting a set of 12"x5" wheels w/ a 4 on 156 bolt pattern from douglas(they can make custom, oddball sizes),then buy a pair of 12" GoodYear P-Metric Radials from Walmart or Sears(I think they're for a Ford Festiva or something) They are only about $20 a piece
