Default 2001 Polaris Magnum 325 4x4 motor oil

What oil can i put into this machine? The manual suggest using polaris oil of course but I have heard of people using other synthetics. Is it ok to use the new Mobil 1 advanced full synthetic oil in this machine?

Any oil of the right weight will work. A lot of people do use Mobile 1.

Does the 01 magnum with PVT have a wet clutch? Will mobile 1 still be ok if it is the wet clutch?

Belt driven clutch system,NO oil in the clutch system. Polaris PS4 Plus engine oil is rated at 2w 50,but before this came out they used 0w40 for years which Mobil1,Amsoil,etc make and is ok to use. Even Rotella synthetic 5w40 is close to the rated oil and used to be fairly cheap and some people use it,but it's now as high as the rest of em. OPT
