250 t.b. reed conversion kit

Yes the snow is melting here pretty good. But it has not gone down enough to take it out a test it somemore went buy there shop today an there is a lot of snow where the track is. I am picking up my raceported cyclender an the head work need next week. If you don't have his raceport done yet you should get it done becuse it is the same proting they do for the reedcage the same with the head work. They are using there trail pipe on the reeed conversion kit an either get the 35mm flat slide carb or get your self a 34mm from a polaris 400 motor it will work with the reedcage an the race port kit

I see you have a fox rear shock on your TB, does it even out the quad (bring the rear up like a Sport)? My wife has a TB and it seams to sit nose high, and I would like it to be more level.
Next I see you have a HPD roller, I was told thet they didn't have a set up for the TB. How do you like yours? What did it improve? I just installed an HPD pipe and MSA silencer, with the trail clutch kit. See like the extra power but the engagement is alittle high for slow speed work. She is only 90 lbs and I have already taken about 55 lbs off the quad, so I am thinking about using a Polaris brown Primary instead of the red taht came with the kit, to try and lower the engagement. I know that her takeoff will suffer some, but I think that it will be worth the trade off.
Just thought I would get your input.
Thanks , Drew

The rear shock improves the ride for me I race my TB. I would not recomand the brown spring it actualy will raise the engagement.Im running a pink spring right now because I was looking for higher engagement an lower shift point. Whne you look at a spring there is 2 numbers like 65lbs an 200lbs those are the engagement an shiftout numbers you want a lower engagnebt nuber to lower the take off rrr's. I just bought the HPD roller have not used it yet still rebuilding the TB for racing MX witch starts april 13th if snow is gone.
I can let you know how it will work once I have it back together an have a chance to work on my clutching. Im also having the HPD raceporting + head work done so I do not have much time to get it setup but when I bought it mike said I should work good for me an gave me a good starting point on the setting of it. Find out the number for your red spring then go into polaris an have them show you the one's in there list an lower the first number from the red one an should take care of it. If you want a little more power for it that is pretty cheap take the head off an have it shaved .020 an find a 34mm carb from a 400 motor use will help alot. I had a catalog from EPI but could not find it to see what spring would be good im thinking a green spring is what you want. hope this helps you

Well how much do you want to spend because right now HPD has a complete Race mode kit that is 800 for it plus then you would need to buy the 35pwk carb at 230 with the kit an you will be running around 38hp at the crank. Goto www.hpd-inc.com an can order the catalog. Frist get a pipe an clutch kit first they go hand an hand
