Default Carb leaking gas out drain hose.

I have a 2001 Polaris 500 HO atv. It ran as if it was flooding or getting overloaded with fuel and then stop running. Now it will not start and gas is leaking out the small 1/8" drain/over flow hose coming from bottom of carb. It is leaking or actually almost running out all the time, even when the atv is off. Even with the gas valve on the left below the tank turned to the off position. Is this a fix I can preform or must I have to take it to an ATV Shop?
Thanks.

stuck needle / float-

take the carb off and give it a good cleaning.

you can try tapping the side of the carn to un-stick the float, but it probably really needs a good cleaning...
