Arrow Am I asking too much for my dirtbike?

Hey everyone,
I know this is mainly an atv forum, but I was kinda in a hurry to ask this question. For many months I have been trying to sell my 1999 Honda Xr200r, and I have had no luck. Just a bunch of low ballers and kids emailing even though they don't have the cash.
So what do you guys think it's worth? Am I asking to much or am I asking a fair price? Recently I updated the add to say I am open to offers to see what people want to pay for my Xr.

1999 Honda XR200R ***Open to offers*** - Fredericton Dirt Bikes, Motocross For Sale - Kijiji Fredericton Canada.

Here is my ad.
Thanks guys !

You never told us how much you are asking? Around here I would say 1200-1500.

Haha, sorry about that man. I didn't even notice I was asking $1700 or best offer.

Agree with jgar-
But 1700 is a fair price-
Xr's are a greatbtrail bike- it'll sell.

Just went and took a 2nd look at the pics. Is the frame factory paint and are the handle bars stock? Did you jet the carb when the slip on was installed or replace chain and sprockets?
When I sell things online I list every little detail.
It is a very clean and sharp looking bike.

I don't think the frame is factory color, it was painted like that when I purchased it. As far as I know the handle bars are stock, and I did jet the carb when the slip on was installed. I also replaced the chain and sprockets.
