Thinking of purchasing an 08 Sportsman 500 EFI. From what I have read, there doesnt seem to be any major common issues. Or is there something I need to be aware of?
Also since I am somewhat new to wheelers, is 1400 miles alot?
What does everyone use to determine the value?
This one is loaded with accessories(winch, warmers, racks,all camo(even the wheels!), and more, serviced at a dealer and is very clean.
Does $5000 seem like a fair price? I live in WI. Sorry for all the questions, still learning.

 

That's probably pretty close price-wise. If the original owner performed the maintenance on schedule that's a big plus right there. I had a Sportsman X2 500 that I put about 3600 miles on. Was fairly issue free until I went off a 3 drop and hit a rock right on the skid plate under the transmission. Knocked something free and it was cheaper to get one on eBay and replace it. Other than that it was a good quad considering the abuse I heaped on it.
