It started and ran fine. Finally. The culprit was a loose wire connection in the connector from the stator wires to the harness. Sometimes we tend to over analyze things instead of the simple things. I should have known better as we have come across numerous wiring problems on the Tao Tao bikes. After checking out the specs on the coil, stator, cdi, checked out the kill switch, etc,etc., SEVERAL times...... I went back to basics and started on the harness and plugs for continuity. Ended up finding the bad wire by a mistake I made in wire colours.ANYway long story short I have to date not had a bad stator cdi or coil go bad. Remote start, and one starter, yes but only one of each. This is not to say it won't happen because with all the electrical questions it does. So check the simple things(connections) first. Don't learn the hard way like me who should have known better.
