Cool 2007 500 browning edition, winch contactor

I ended up having to replace the PDM to the machine which cleared up that issue, however, after that, all i got when i went to use my winch was clicking coming out of the contactor, checked all the connections, tight, pulled the winch applied voltage and it ran, tried pricing the contactor online and find that it is discontinued, part#2410933, any help and advice would be greatly appreciated,

Shows several on Ebay you might check out. Plus you might contact Warn as to a replacement contactor that would work.Warn Style Replacement Winch Contactor Solenoid Will Work with Brand Winches | eBay OPT

As stated, you can go to warn website and order a new or E-bay. The contactor from my warn/polaris winch went bad on my 07 sp500 and the replacement warn sent me was the same as the oem. Been working fine for two years now with heavy use.

Appreciate the advice, I got a little nervous when I saw the part# was not available thru polaris parts sources, dont know what I would do without the atv community out there steering me in the right direction when these issues arise.
Thanks again

Well, I bought the half price knock off contactor, upon installing it there was no difference, the contactor just clicks when I hit the in/out switch, not sure what to do now, buy the more expensive warn contactor? or could the problem be lurking elsewhere? I do remember that the issue arised after i installed the new pdm... thankfully, the plow i bought does not need the winch to raise and lower it, for now i will just run without the winch, any other places i should be looking into?
btw, the little wrench symbol is flashing on my display when key is on, should i take it in and have it looked at??
Thanks again

First check that your battery is up to snuff, could be all that was wrong with the winch, not the contactor in the first place? Just have the battery load tested. Even Tractor Supply offers load testers now for about 12 bucks. I almost bought one,but If I'd still been working I would have! OPT

I took the battery in a while ago for a load test, they said it tested out well, think i will go pick up a tester myself just to have and give it a try. What i dont understand, if the contactor is clicking, then i believe its getting juice, but the juice is not getting to the winch from the contactor...
does the circuit flow thru anything else other than the battery, switch, contactor, and winch,
could a guy just run his own circuit from the switch thru the battery contactor and out to the winch, and bypass all the OEM bs of wiring harnesses, pdm's and other??????

Same thing that can happen with a solenoid clicking, not enough voltage to trigger the starter,BUT does it crank up ok? If so then you may have other problems. OPT

machine cranks up great, now that i replaced the pdm, everything seems to be functioning fine except for the clicking contactor, have 14.4 volts at the battery while running, will buy a load tester and check that. need to explore the flashing wrench sign on the display as well, thankfully, i do not need the winch to plow, so no emergency at the momment, just would like the winch to work should i need it
Thanks again
