I was thinking of investing in a swing arm skid plate from moose. I was wondering if any one knows if this is a good investment for my scram. Or is it not worth its weight. And also if any one nows which brands are better I was just looking at the moose because it was cheap. I don't realy want to spend that much on a part thats going to get the crap kicked out of it.

Thanks for your help!

I have just ordered Polaris Skid plates for the frame and swingarm, and PRM for the A Arms. I had a reply from someone that I asked the exact same question, and they had some trouble with the PRM. I took that with a grain of salt, but for the price, I decided to go with genuine Polaris for the swingarm and frame.

Good luck,

Rainman

I'm in the process of returning my brand new un-installed Pure Polaris rear skid plate 'cause you loose about an 1 1/2" clearance. Think I'll stick with the factory ones.
