Default Trying to understand wheel offset

I have 2011 King Quad 750. If I'm understanding it correctly, a 2+5 offset wheel would give my quad a wider stance. Is this correct, and if so, is it something that would be recommended?

Yes it will give it a wider stance. Whether you like it depends on where, and how you ride.

Unfortunately, it's hard to find aftermarket that don't widen the stance.
