Default 2005 sportsman 500 ho front diff leaking

hey guys hope everyone had a great holiday. my sportsmans 500 ho is leaking fluid where the left axle goes into the front dif. I have never had a problem with it leaking before. I do have more play than normal with my axles moving up and down and side to side. Is there anyone that has had this problem? or recommend rebuild kits?? thanks

Normal for a little up and down/side to side play on drive shafts. Sounds like you need the seal kit #15 Dirt Cheap Yamaha, Honda, Arctic Cat & Polaris OEM Parts & Accessories – Cycle Parts Warehouse. There is a lash set screw on the right hand side of the case(factory set) that can be adjusted(back off 3 turns, use red lock tite, tighten until resistance is felt, back off 1/4 turn) but this mainly for the gear lash play on ring and pinion gear and shouldn't have anything to do with the drive shaft play.
