Default '01 DS650 oil

i recently bought a DS650 project bike and i was wondering what kind of oil i should use

from the owners manual i was getting the following statements

use BRP 5w40 synthetic

use 10w40 in summer

use 5w30 in winter

anything but XP-S 5w40 Synthetic may cause clutch slippage

I have an '89 honda 300 wet clutch and use Mobile 1 10w40 full synthetic so i was thinking of just using that

Mobile one and Amsoil synthetic sate right on the bottle "Wet clutch Compatible" .
Or any brand of synthetic motorcycle 4 stroke grade oil. All motorcycles have wet clutches.

Brp does not have the wet clutch full synthetic oil market cornered.

I like 0w-40 (only comes in synthetic) because it cover winter and summer conditions.
Chart only cover 0w-30 but 0w-40 has a even higher temp range.
