Hey there..... I got a question, how do u know when your clutch needs to be ajusted? cause, my bayou seems to be acting up, some times its hard to change gear, sometimes if im going really fast i get a VERY loud winein' noise coming from the clutch, and its seems to ingage and disinage abruptly and cause the wheels to brake loose...... and when im going flat out i can feel the clutch disingage and reingage cause the wheels to spin and slightly slide the quad sideways, HELP

I know that the tranmission became much easier to shift after I adjusted my clutch.

Do you already know how to adjust it?

1. The clutch adjustment screw is located behind a small plastic cover located near the lower right side of the engine. Remove the two screws that hold the cover in place.

2. While holding the screw in place with a large screwdriver, loosen the screw's lock nut.

3. While holding the locknut (now loose), turn the adjustment screw (inside the nut) clockwise until you feel resistance.

4. While still holding the locknut, turn the adjustement screw back in the counterclockwise direction until you feel resistance.

5. Turn the adjustment screw 1/4 turn back in the clockwise direction, still while holding the locknut loose and in a set position.

6. Now tighten the locknut while holding the adjustment screw in place.

Good luck.
