Default how do I get my master cylinder apart?

here's the deal! I've got a 92trail boss 350L that needs a hand brake rebuild. I've had it off before ,but couldn't figure out how to get the master cylinder comletely apart to the point where I could replace the seals? Anybody have the trick to getting it apart? Thanks! Dave

The seal holds this assembly in and a sharp jerk with a small pair of pliers on the plunger will usually free the assembly. If still hard to remove, you may have to have a small pick to remove the seal first. Inspect the inside of the bore where the plunger goes and if pitted I wouldn't waste time or money on rebuilding it.I'd upgrade to the replacement #2050073.If the bore is clean then rebuilding probably would work. Master cylinder's not cheap, but you would see a big improvement on braking versus the old red levered master cylinder. Just my on this. Ebay might be a good place to check also if your old one is not rebuildable for a good used newer model.Dirt Cheap Yamaha, Honda, Arctic Cat & Polaris OEM Parts & Accessories – Cycle Parts Warehouse
