Default New front suspension

Well my '00 sportsman 500 front shocks are about to the end of there life. It has the macpherson front struts and from what I understand are non-rebuildable. I would rather do some upgraded front shocks instead of buying another set of macphersons. I would like to keep it reasonably priced. I've seen Bronco front shocks for sportsman that are for my model, Are they worth the extra $50 and how good are they? Do the broncos come with springs or do you have to remove your existing ones?

Thanks

Would any other year of sportsman shocks possibly work with a little bit of fitting? Or maybe just buy new shocks and springs? If I do that what shocks and springs will get the most travel?

On mine the front was to soft all I did was add HD springs from polaris and it stiffend it right up better then new.
I bought the Polaris HD but there are aftermarket ones as well. There about $100 a pair.

The 96 to 2004 should be all the same after that there was a front suspension travel increase.

K, those aren't going to stiffen the suspension to the point they won't move for smaller bumps at all will they? How are those when doing jumps? I probably will get a pair of those but I'd like to know

Others that do a lot of jumping can advise you,but I installed quite a few of hd springs for front and rear of Sportsmans,Scramblers, etc. Didn't have any complaints on being too stiff plus on a lot of front ends where the tires seemed to lean inward after awhile,hd springs helped on tire alignment since you can't adjust the camber on Polaris front ends, just the toe in and toe out.
