It looks like my Glacier 1 plow. It's stronger than the Glacier II and quick and easy to put on and take off. I can't really think of any cons to it.

How much does it affect ground clearance with the plow off?

The mount doesn't hang very far. Maybe an inch. I leave it on year round without any problems.

Definitely a Glacier I. Great plow. Like jumbofrank stated, it doesn't affect gc much and it's not hard to remove if need be. Big thing if you're going to leave it on is to make sure you have an access hole to drain the front diff. I think some of the early mounts had no hole but a few good measurements and a holesaw can fix that.
