Default 850xp problems after new valves and timing chain

i had to take my 09 850xp into the shop as it would not start. they found bad valves and the timing chain was stretched and replaced a timing gear. they said when they split the engine that everything on the bottom end looked great and had no wear any where.

i picked it up last night and it ran good so i loaded it up and brought it home. i filled the gas up with 100% gas, we have a station that has some. here are some issues i found...
1-took it out for a ride around the property and at idle i noticed the rpm jumped around from 1150 to 1260.
2-when i push the throttle in its like the screw is to tight and the plastic is binding against each other and makes it sticky, but the throttle comes back on its own.
3-the fan runs A LOT! it did need some antifreeze, filled it up, and still it runs more on then off. every time i stopped it was on but i could sit there and it would cut off.
4-after riding awhile when i let off the throttle it looses all power and has no throttle then dies. i can turn key off then on and it will start back up. ride some more then it cuts off and i have to turn key off then on again.

they said polaris had and update for the cpu and power steering so they did that too. any thoughts off whats going on?

does anyone know of a good popo tech in the charlotte area??

Best thing I can tell you is to take it back and have the dealer recheck the machine on Digital Wrench and reprogram the ecm if needed. What they've done, you don't really know and all anyone can do is just speculate as to where to start looking.Only so much you can do on the efi machines with just an ohm meter and hand tools which may not help find the problem. Only thing I'd do is to leave the radiator cap off and see if you can remove any trapped air then top off the radiator and replace the cap after the fan cycles on and off several times.See if this helps out on the fan issue. The erratic idle, dying can be anything from a sensor harness wiring short, weak fuel pump,or it may simply be that it wasn't programmed correctly.

they want it back to look at it. its very frustrating to spend a lot of money on that thing and it still dont work right...sorry had to vent some they said it might be some wire crossed, programming and rerouting the throttle cable
