2002 400ex right axle nut problems?

You can, but it won't work. If your hub nut is stripped out, then your hub
splines and axle splines must be toast. What you CAN do, and I have done
this, is to weld your hub to the axle. The "correct" repair is to buy a new
axle and hub. $150 for those parts, used.
