Hola everyone . I have a Racher 2001 TRX350FM and I am at a total lost at what I need to do to get this bike running . At first we couldn't get it started and we got some advice to try and clean the carb . Knowing absolutely nothing about atv car or how to fix anything of the sort , we attempted to clean the carb , going off of a very vague youtube video . The screw to open the black case to release the throttle cable is stripped and it proved harder than we thought to clean it . We used the parts from a carb rebuild kit . We got it to start but , every time we throttle it the engine begins to cut out/ stall .

Basically we need to know what we need to do to get the bike running like new (or running at all) . . .

A carb is really pretty easy to take care of, your carb has a pilot jet and a main jet. If the pilot jet is plugged it will not run good at all. The pilot jet is off center in the float bowl in a little passage that needs to be taken out and cleaned. you should be able to look through the hole to see if it is plugged. The pilot jet controls the carb from idle to around 25 % and then the main jet kicks in.
Clean both jets
clean all the little passages that you see on the carb with spray carb cleaner
clean the choke and and passage it goes into
I keep a gallon can filled with carb cleaner to soak my entire carb in
If you took it right off the machine and clean it on a bench you would have seen the choke plunger.
Ill keep an eye on the sight and help you along.
