Default OP,another awd QUESTION

Been reading on another forum that by doing the reverse over ride mod it by passes the switch therefore sending a "full 12v" to the coils thus making the coils stronger.Make any sense to you.It went on to say the reason for this is there could be drop in voltage because power is going through other things ie switch, and what not.Any opion, because as you know I have yet to get my rf wheel to work in awd and hope to find a solution before shelling out money I can ill afford

Doesn't increase voltage! Just allows 12 volts constant to the hub coils when in reverse there by over riding the button and "arming" the awd as soon as you place it in reverse. When the situation arises that you need awd in reverse the awd will kick in only if the rear tires slip. If on smooth ground you'll have full speed in reverse same as in forward range. If you have voltage to the rf coil you still may have a mechanical problem and not electrical if the awd doesn't work.
