I tried and tried and tried again today.I could never do!I could upshift to 5th(last gear)But I couldn't down shift. As soon as I would the engine would rev up real high and the front end would drop.

How do you do it?

Ok, I have never tried this but I probably will now that ive seen this. The only way that I think it will be possible is is you ride a nice wheelie and get it into that "no gravity feeling" The feeling where your quad kinda teeters either way. You know what i mean? Anyway, once it gets up there, try to keep your balance without using throttle to let then engine settle down a little bit (maybe 1 second, hopefully it will be enought time) then jam it down again and hammer it. That is the method that I will be trying if I ever get mine working right.

derekhonda's right,
you have to be in "that spot" where you can let off everything, and just by body motion, you lean forward or backwards.
I can't do it on my shee (hardly pull a wheely), but on my mountainbike, I can ride a wheelie, and almost get to a a stop without getting the front wheel down (I stay in that balance point, then play with the rear brake and lean back in the same time). I think it's pretty easy...you have to be confortable riding "the spot" before attempting this. I'll try to do this as soon as I can ride.
So my .02, find the balance point(where even if you let off the gas, it will stay up), get used to it, and THEN you'll be able to even brake during wheelies (and it's a real blast!)

I'm getting worried! Ugly hasn't posted back yet. I hope he hasn't flipped his quad over (in a feeble attempt at a wheelie) and is now lying unconscious, pinned underneath it! It's a shame they don't equip those things with On-Star.

Nope I didn't get to try it.My dAd got mad because I forgot to turn the gas on the 250r off and it leaked out a little. You could smell it real bad.He said the house was going to blow up.

Jviper85 is bringing his trailblazer over tonight so I will try it then.

My dad can do it!I never knew.I knew he is good at wheelie's but I can beat him in distance wheelie's.He did it on the 300ex.I was very suprised. He can go real slow almost still and just keep going. He can downshift. Now I have to learn it!
