Default Tao Atv won't move

I bought a Tao 125 ATV a few months ago that won't move when you put it in gear. I finally got around to putting in a new clutch a couple weeks ago. My kids rode it for about an hour and now it it doing the same thing. When you put it in forward or in reverse you can feel and hear it go into gear but it won't move. I took the crank cover back off and none of the gears are striped. What can it be?

I adjusted the clutch as much as I could. When I took it back apart there was a bunch of metal pieces in the oil screen. Nothing looks broken but the metal had to come from somewhere.

you never answered the above question.

If you never adjusted the clutch properly you may have just shredded the clutch.

It is a semi. What is the proper way to adjust the clutch?
