Good Afternoon,

I swapped out a the stock carb on a China 110 ATV for a VM22. i am trying to get the idle to work, i have the idle screw almost all the way out but my engine still goes crazy when you start it. Its like its on full throttle. the airflow control thing is all the way down on the inside of the carb. I don't know how the tiny opening it has could have enough air to make engine rev like crazy.

Carb VM22 has a 15 Pilot and a 95 Main. Its Stock. I havent really tried to adjust the fuel mix screw all that much, i tried all the way in and almost all the way out and it didn't seem to change anything.

 

have you checked to see if the slide is 180 degrees out or backwards? its easy to do i have done it a few times
