Default chinese 110cc atv making loud whining noise sounds loke from stator area

Hi new to forum but looking for some help troubleshooting this kids 110cc ATV Chinese made. Haven't been able to ride more than a few minutes at a time when starts making a whining or screeching sound coming from what seems to be stator area. Held my hand on stator cover while driving but unable to feel anything when it starts screeching. it does not seem to be a weight issue or does care what speed your doing. It just does it whenever, but it does happen after being warmed up a few minutes. Its still not even broke in yet. took back to shop were purchased they kept for almost a month and told me they could not find anything wrong with it. Any Help or info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Dave

can you take the stator cover off and inspect it for rub marks? i would say the dealer didn't even look at it. just kept it to eat up your warranty calendar. if you take it back, get it warm and make sure it does it with you and them standing there to witness the deficiencies.

Default 110cc making whining sound

Sorry jaster 94 didn't get back sooner. Corrected problem. the clutch on the other side was needed to be adjusted. the nut was never tightened so I took and adjusted according to manual. and what do you problem gone. I hope it helps some one else that might be having same problem. But did pull stator cover first found nothing wrong in that area. sound must of been radiating through engine. So another item on Chinese ATVs check and re check nuts and bolts all over ATV.

I will never recommend them to anyone or buy from them again. They don't want me coming back in there for service.

not a problem about getting back any time soon. as far as the chinese atvs go, yeah, double check nuts/bolts/assembly. they'll make you learn how to troubleshoot and learn to fix'em, the name brand japanese ones very seldom breakdown. i have both. i ride them all, work on chinese atvs. it's a hobby. i still learn. good to know you got it fixed. thanks.
