please check the quick connects in/around your wiring harness/loom. sometimes the blades inside push back and do not make good contact. did you try another NGK spark plug? was it running prior to cleaning your stator area?

yeah, just hold the rubber part and crank. you should be able to ground plug up against the jug/cylinder fin area. i presume the magnet pick up in the stator area didn't have any surface rust on it, did it? the red slider kill switch is ok? did you check the wire connections coming off the back of the keyed ignition? sometimes they work themselves loose and will kill spark.

No rust on the stator just dust and just so you know there's no battery either but it ran before without it. I changed many components on the quad before to get it running before
