Default Carb Issues Yamaha Wolverine 450.

Hi, i'm newer to Atving and one of my 07 wolverines 450 has not been running right. It sputters and does not go over a couple mph. Putting the choke on helps a little bit, but not much. I cleaned the gas tank, and found a little bit of sand, then cleaned the carb. It then runs fine for a little bit, but then when i give it a decent amount of gas, it sputters and wont run right again. I cleaned the carb and installed a fuel filter, and the same thing happened. Cleaned it one more time, and same issue happened. I am not sure what to do now. Should i Rebuild the carb? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If you can't find an obvious air leak such as the intake manifold,I'd install a carb kit.As many as I've had to do I'd never pull a carb and just clean one.A lot of times you end up just having to go back in. Frustrating when you do. Always install a new kit and eliminate the carb as a problem. Blow out all the passages in the carb, fuel line to make sure you have all the sand out. Check the float height, plus not a bad idea to check valve clearance while you're at it. http://www.ebay.com/itm/YAMAHA-2007-2010-YFM450FX-Wolverine-Carburetor-Repair-Kit-YFM-450-Carb-Kit-/231288508019?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&hash=item35d9de8e73&vxp=mtr
