I've had chance of buying a YFM50 cheap as the electrics have been messed up and the plastics have been painted in that 1990s pale blue that Big Bears came in, this is now peeling off so it looks awful. The electrics I can sort, but new plastics would cost as much as the bike is worth. Anyone know if one of the "Chinese copies" plastics will fit? Some of the Kazuma plastics look similar and are under $100 including nose cone and seat. Also is the 50 any good? I've worked on 80s but never come across a 50 before.
