I have a 2000 honda foreman 450 and I just rebuilt the top end, it will run but when you give it gas it will not rev up hardly, it will stay running but will not rev up much, I've tried cleaning the carb and putting another carb on and I'm having the same result, does anyone know what's going on with my bike?

 

One question is why did you rebuild the top end? Another is did you take the cables off the carb and did you put them back properly so you get the butterfly opening fully? No rags left in inlet or exhaust ports? Valves re-set properly?

 

Did atv run good before the take down?
