Dinli 90 Carb Back Pressure question?
#1
Guys, been kinda stumped on this and maybe I can get an answer to my dilemma.
I have a 90cc Dinli T-Rex DL-601. Years back I had replaced the carb as I got it as a non runner. It always seemed to have a back pressure issue, so I fixed it by putting a piece of cloth in-between the intake and air filter. Without that cloth it would just bog, but with it, it created more back pressure and worked like a champ.
I would like to resolve the issue, but not sure where to start. Any of you experts out there have any suggestions?
Thanks,
Leo

Sounds like all you're doing is restricting air intake which makes a carb run richer by using the cloth to compensate for jetting being too lean. If you have access to larger main jets you might start there and see if you can get rid of the cloth.

Makes sense for sure. I do not have other jets but maybe I may experiment with drill bits.
