looking for a little experiance, i have a hensim brand 150cc gy6 that has a broken left side case. ive found several cases on ebay but i dont know how universal these chinese engines are. so any advice on rebuilding or parts would help alot. thanks.

 

It is a "do you feel lucky" situation as another makers case may fit, but may not. I did a top end rebuild on a G S Moon buggy with a GY6 engine, and freely available GY6 head gaskets didn't fit. It took a while, and a lot of googling to find G S Moon used a different head stud spacing to all other GY6 engine makers.
