Default !999 Warrior No Start

I have a 99 warrior 350 that will only start with ether. When it does start it runs rough and wont take full throttle. We have a new top end rebuild on it, new carb kit, carb was cleaned atleast 3 different times, timing is good and valves are good. have a new one way clutch and new stator also....Any suggestions on where else to go from here?

Sounds like it isn't getting fuel, or not enough.....maybe old fuel. Might verify your petcock isn't stopped up...remove fuel line from carb, open petcock, have a glass jar handy and capture a fuel sample, might have water in it.... and see how the fuel flows. If all good, re-attach fuel line ( might install a small fuel filter ), open the carb drain to ensure fuel flow. Are you sure the float is set to Yamaha spec?

It's new gas and the fuel does flow through it freely. I didn't check the floats do you know the factory specs by any chance?

11.4-13.4mm. You might want to download a manual...$5 on most sites. It is invaluable....
