I have a dinli 90cc 2stroke quad it runs great when I use the kick start . I installed a new battery today for the electric start and when I push the button I hear one click then nothing push it again and one click . ran out of time to work on it tonight so I thought I would ask what your thoughts are??

Ain't too familar with these, but similar to Polaris youth models. Have you checked to see if power is reaching the starter? If not, could be a relay? Just throwing it out there. Others may be able to tell you what's wrong if that's not it.Starter Relay Solenoid for Dinli 50cc 90cc 110cc Dino Beast Diamond Back ATV New | eBay

no I didn't get a chance to check if there is power at starter. I checked the inline fuse and that was good . it sat for awhile before I bought it so hopefully tomorrow I can make it out to garage and check for power and or dirty connections .

ok guys went out to garage today and tinkered on the quad. when I push the electric start button it clicks once and there is 12.79 volts at the starter , I removed the starter and hooked it up direct to battery and it does nothing so I'm pretty sure the starter is shot

Looks similar to Polaris youth model starters. Have em here pretty cheap. At least cheaper than I've found on ebay.Chinese Starter 2-Stroke 90cc Engine Version 26 - Dinli | VMC Chinese Parts

I agree no matter what your tinkering on everything needs fixing sooner or later...overall this one hasn't been too bad just needed a little more than the seller said it did
