I need to know which electrical item to replace is it the silver one or the black one cause the battery won't charge and the fan stays on a long time.


Is it the ecm or the silver one

 

Silver one is the regulator and most likely the problem if it's not charging back to the battery.Plus make sure the connection are good.You can check the yellow wires coming from the stator that lead to the regulator connector to rule out a stator charge coil.With an ohm meter should show some resistance between each yellow stator wires with no yellow shorting to ground. If this checks out then it's pretty safe to say the regulator is faulty.
