Both hand and thumb warmers quit working. How do I troubleshoot?

 

Work from the toggle or rocker switch wiring on down.Make sure the switch has voltage and ground wires are good. Hand warmers/ thumb warmers are usually tied into a red/white wire that's powered up when the ignition switch is on. Could be as simple as a circuit breaker faulty if so equipped,a ground or power wire fault or a fault in the switch itself.

 

Switches have voltage so checked leads coming out of the heater grid wrapped around the handlebars. Voltage there also but no heat. Found small break in the grid on both grips. Hope it is as simple as that.

 

Hopefully it's a simple repair. Small wires that can be easily damaged.
