I know what you mean about nobody responding to your thread.

Uni is a good air filter and will do a good job keeping the dirt out of your motor. I use the stock air filter. In fact I bought a extra stock filter to make a quick switch out when the one I'm using gets dirty. Dirt is enemy #1 to motors and I think either one would do a good job. Uni filters might be a little cheaper than stock. I paid $20 for a stocker.

This and other topics have been well discussed. I have posted questions then started looking back in old posts and found the answer. I don't think anyone is trying to be rude it's just a case of the same old thing. Once you've been here awhile you see some of the same Q's again and again...

Dont know about honda ones, but the UNI filter for the blaster was 50x better then the stock one, and $10 or more cheaper.. I recommend them. I dont for-see anything getting past it unlike the stocker.. Was quite impressed when I got it, worth the money, Im sticking with 'em.

Have used both the Uni and the stock air filters and can't see any difference between either one. Each time I remove the filter I inspect the throat of the air intake tube to see if there is any dirt or grit, and have not found any with either filter. I usually have a spare filter, cleaned & oiled in a plastic bag so it's ready to go. This gives me time to clean & dry the dirty filter and then a clean one is always available. Have had experience with 3 Uni-filters (Suzuki Lt160, Honda Recon, and Honda Rancher). The manufactures aren't going to build junk and stay in business too long so think you will be satisfied with either filter.

I run a UNI on my quad and my bike and the last five bikes before this one and have had very good luck. I think they are great filters - much better than a K&N for super dusty conditions IMHO. I doubt they are that much better than stock but I get them anyway - maybe I am just a victim of marketing.

What I have always wondered was why the UNI filter is two filters and the TWIN-AIR filter is just one. WTF?
