Gurus out there , dealer said carb needed new seat and they don't make them for it. Can that be possible? Gas leaking and he wants to put a new carb on it. Sound right? Any help would be appreciated.

 

It's a common Kevin CVK 34 carburetor. I'd be surprised if you can't find a rebuild kit from eBay. Those are very easy to work on, download a parts manual, try <mymowerparts.com> or Country Cat. I suspect the seat can be cleaned up, and the float needle just needs the little "viton" tip that goes on it. Check eBay, too. Freaking ethanol gas sucks. Heckmight even try some old motorcycle guys, Dealers typically just like to put new stuff on.
