I have it in my shop and before I tear the engine and gear case out I thought I would ask if I missed anything. Essentially it wont move in any gear. I can push it, so nothing is locked up. I checked both of the clutches and they are engaging as they should be. In park, the secondary will continue to spin, I think it should stop. I checked the shift linkage and everything looks fine there, and each gear is hitting the detent. The driveshaft is not turning in any gear, so I don't believe it is in the final drives. Does it sound like I may be pulling the gearcase?

 

I was looking at your post from 2018 as I’m having the exact same issue with my 2011 commander 1000. What did you find was the problem with your at the time?

 

Looking back at my files, it appears I dropped a new gearcase/ transmission into the unit. I did not tear it apart so don't know what the exact issue was inside, but my customer opted to put a new one in rather than paying labor for tear down of the trans.
