Default 1986 LT250r Bottom End Rebuild

Have a 1986 LT250r that needed the bottom end rebuilt...After getting it all put back together using the owners manual. I was able to shift through all of the gears.

We sealed up the casing, but now it won't shift through the gears at all, completely seized up?

Have taken it apart again twice, double checking every component. But the same result...What I'm I doing wrong?

Any insight would be helpful.
