i dont know if this works on a rancher, but on my 300ex if you find the wires that come out from the spot where you put the key in and cross them you can start it.

Shouldn't this topic state "How do I steal a Rancher?".

Maybe the Authorities in the area of downers grove, IL, US should be notified.

Why, it's quite simple.
Go to your local Honda dealer with the VIN, and a sales recipt, and buy a new key.

Well how about this. I live in St Cloud, Florida and drove around 8 hours to Durhamtown atv park east of Atlanta and I left the key on my night stand in Florida. I dont have time to go to no dealer or buy new keys. I want to ride now instead of turning around and going home.
