Atc 250 sx (HELP PLS)

Atc 250 sx (HELP PLS)
I have a nice running 1986 250sx, however the bike has a bad rear diff and won’t move .. does anybody know if a 1985 diff will work (I know the swing arm design is different but to me the diffs look the same) ANY HELP IS GREATLY APRECIATED

I had an '86 ATC250SX. That is the granddaddy of all 3-wheelers. Reverse gear, drive shaft utility, and very heavy.
Go to the parts diagram for both ATVs and see it the part #s match. It also could be the same final drive as for the '86
Honda 4-wheeler. You can see those diagrams free on places like RockyMountainATV, etc.
Good luck. That part often costs more than what you can sell a 3-wheeler for.
