Default 50cc Chinese quad from 2006 , called edge 50, need some info...

I got this for free, know nothing about it and while it's in pretty good shape it does have its issues.

1) this is a 2 stroke right? I see no oil filter or crankcase except the transmission one.
2) if 2 stroke, what's the proper mix of gas/oil for this?
2) How do you put it in neutral? for whatever reason when I start it the transmission is already engaged in drive and wheels spin.
3) Could someone identify another name for this that I might be better off searching online? edge 50 comes up with nothing I need the seat, rear light and few minor things.
4) is there something missing from the front right handlebar or no? it looks like there may have been another lever, but there's no front brake or cut pull wires so maybe it's just the way it should be.
5) Any way to easily identify the carb? I cleaned this one and it's running little rough still, it's a "mitsumi" or something like that but model I can't tell...

It will be a rev and go 4 stroke. Engine is a copy of a Honda 50 motorcycle, but I think those did have gears. Engine and transmission run in the same oil. I can just about make out the vin number and it comes up as being made by Guangzhou Panyu Huanan Motors Group Co., Ltd. but in 2001 rather than 06. Some bikes have two brake levers, some haven't. Carb will be a close copy of the ones used by Honda, which, I guess, would be a Mikuni.

They usually have a lawnmower style centrifugal clutch so, when you rev them up, the clutch shoes fly out, grip the clutch drum and off you go. So engine has to idle slow enough for the shoes not to be gripping the drum. Brake usually has to be applied when starting so you don't suddenly set off.

definitely 4 stroke? thanks for the info, I greatly appreciate it, I got it running with 2 stroke mix for few minutes, shouldn't hurt anything and it might run a bit better without oil in the gas haha

I found that VIN decoder that's often mentioned on this forum (what a great resource!) but it's failing me... mine is LE8SGALC751000748 , the 4th digit of "S" is not recognized but I'm quite sure it is an S... hmm...

but I did find this executive order in CA for the similar VIN https://ww3.arb.ca.gov/msprog/onroad...0850005_50.pdf in there they call it the XTM 50 which is the dirt bike model (probably same engine/trans right?) you were dead on about the maker for sure.

I use Cyclepedia's vin decoder, seems to work better for Chinese stuff than most, that is what came up with Guangzhou Panyu Huanan Motors Group Co., Ltd Not sure if I put S or 0 in as it looked like a Naught with line through, and missed the A, it doesn't look like there is one on that picture above, it worked anyway but would explain why the date was wrong as the 5 would be the date code rather than 1.
