Default 2002 polaris 500 HO smokes AFTER warmed up

Engine runs strong but after it warms up, say 4-5 minutes it starts smoking. This is blue smoke and it does it even at idle.Of course it smokes big time running down the road but only after it warms up. Is there an EGR valve or some smog valve that is causing this? Been parked 3 years and had no issues when parked. Has fresh fuel and oil.

Time to run a compression check to find the health of the engine. Easy to do and gives good information.

Thanks. After running it a while and observing the smoke, I can see that there are two problems. One is the oil rings and the other is the valve seals. Parts ordered. Thanks again.
