Default Smoking sometimes

My 03' s.p.500ho smokes when i start it up after it sits for a few days, then after I run it for about 20min it don't smoke at all. What could this be? Should I be worried? The bike still has good power and dosn't knock. Will it get worse? Should I rebuild? Any help would be nice , thanks.

If taking head of might as well check/replace rings as could be having blowby(oil getting past rings into combustion area) and burning until warm and rings then seal. Kinda early to be smoking unless oil changes infrequent or different oil used than recommended.

chances are the valve seals are getting a little bad. alot of vechicles do that. key an eye on the oil level and chage it if it hasnt been done in a long time. unless it gets real bad i wouldnt woory too much about it. imo.
