Neighbor has a 2014 Polaris 570 atv and the battery will not stay charged. We replaced the battery with a new agm sealed battery and the same thing. Started chasing wires and found one of the stator wires had rubbed thru and caused a short on the frame. Replaced stator and still the battery drains after a few hours riding. What next....regulator or should we be looking at something else. At idle voltage shows anywhere from 11.9 volts up to 14.4 volts running. Does fluctuating voltage indicate regulator? Thanks in advance for any help
