Battery connections tight, regulator connections ok? What is the voltage at the battery at an idle? If it's not at least 14 volts then could be a faulty regulator. Oem regulators are fairly pricey, but there are after market options if one is needed for this part number(4012192) New Regulator for Polaris ATV Sportsman 500 HO 500 Touring HO | eBay If it is charging ok even a brand new battery can be bad straight out of the box and not be able to hold the charge. Best way to check it is a load test after it's fully charged. Here's a good article on this.https://www.batterystuff.com/blog/ho...ry-is-bad.html Plus one other test is on the new stator that you installed. All the yellow stator wires leading to the regulator should show some resistance between each other and no yellow should short to ground. Hopefully this can help you track down the problem.

It's not the cranking or even the way it runs,it's just that the battery light coming on when the lights are on is telling you something. That either the charging system is weak, the new battery possibly can't hold a charge,a faulty ground not allowing the battery to charge enough unless you give it more throttle, etc. The battery light is usually pretty reliable and a good indicator that something is wrong somewhere when it flashes.

What will make it miss when I got to open the gas all the way up? I can run it at half throttle and it does fine. I changed the spark plug and the air filter still didn't help.

Have you checked any of the things I mentioned first?

Checking charging to see if the battery is receiving enough voltage from the regulator plus checking the battery itself by a simple load testing are the most important steps. Either one could be the cause of the battery light flashing..
