Default Wiring and spark problems

I have a older redcat. Was told it was 90cc. The wiring is pretty chopped up and having issues with no spark. Seems like I have power going thru everything but to the spark plug. Have tried pulling the kill switch wire and that didnt help. It has a 6cdi box and having trouble finding a complete wiring kit that says it will fit. If I rewire it completely does it matter if I switch to a 5 pin cdi? Or is there something I am missing to start these. First one I have messed with.

Find out what each wire to the CDI comes from, it may be that the trigger, or exciter coil has two wires to CDI instead of one, so will need the correct 6 pin CDI, but it also could be that it has two earth wires, so a 5 pin with one earth would be OK.
