Default Front hubs on a 2000 Polaris Sportsman 500

I have a 500 sportsman and I’m wondering if I can pack the front hubs with grease instead of oil. We do not use the all wheel drive. I have replaced the bearings and seals and am still getting oil leakage from time to time. I would like to install a grease nipple where the drain plug is on the hub and just grease the front instead of using oil. What’s your thoughts?

Dont do it.

Youre much better figureing out where its leaking and fixing that.

Did you replace the o ring on the outer hub cover? Those often get overlooked.
