Default Tao Tao Cheetah seat

Looking for some advice for my sons 110cc Cheetah . Anyone have problems with the seat not latched properly? Any Better quality aftermarket seats that will work for these 110Cc Tao cheetahs? I’ve tried to rig it up and keep it on tight but it keeps getting loose.. the latch Mechanism just broke at the rivets .

Default Same problem

I know it’s been over a year since you posted this issue but I’m wondering if you ever found a solution? We are having the same problem. The seat keeps coming in latched making it almost unusable.

Strap is screwed to the frame. Seems tight.

Remove the catch from the rivets, get a piece of steel sheet about 3" to 4" square and pop rivet it onto the seat base where the catch fits, then pop rivet the catch back onto the sheet steel where it should go. If your skills are good enough, form the sheet into that ribbed shape before fitting. It is almost certain the damage was caused by someone trying to remove the seat without un-latching the catch, so make sure they don't do it again, as pop rivets won't have that good a hold in plastic.
