when is the last time you serviced the hubs and changed the fluid with the correct Polaris fluid? it does make a difference for correct operation.

I was given the machine from my father 7 years ago and never used it much I drained the oil that was still there and replaced it with atf for now I dont have a dealership near me it comes out of engagement but then after about 30 seconds in fwd kicks in the left side works perfect after reading old threads I realise it could maybe be the armature plate

I would recommend taking it apart and cleaning it completely and finding the correct Polaris hub oil as that does play into it not working correctly as ATF is not a replacement.
