Hi all. I'm wiring up a start in gear mod for my honda recon. I'm a little anxious that is may wear out the starter or the clutch over time. Would this mod cause significant wear to the transmission or starter and is it safe? Thanks

 

Doesn't do them any good as the starter has to drag against the one way/centrifugal clutch. Why would anyone want to start it in gear? You have to go down to 1st to set off anyway, unless you want to cause more wear to the clutches and transmission.
